From the heart of O’ahu’s highly sought after Hoakalei community and Wai Kai, the west side’s newest recreation facility, Aloha Racing brings our 2nd annual Laule’a 5K, 10K & Half Marathon! Along with its sister event in January, Akahai, these flat & fast courses include spectacular views of Ernie Els’ signature golf course (home of the LPGA LOTTE Championship), as well as O’ahu’s breathtaking Leeward Coast at Nimitz Beach. Athletes will be embraced by the beauty of the island, creating memories to last a lifetime.
|Psst… Laule’a is an Endless Challenge event! If you raced Akahai in January, you’re definitely going to want to click here to find out how we keep you motivated.|

Dedicated in Support of Protectors of Paradise!
Working to protect the land and ocean from abusive or harmful activities since 2016,
Protectors of Paradise has a passion for preserving the beauty of Hawai’i for future generations.
On Earth Day 2023, over 90,000 pounds of rubbish were removed from areas
surrounding our Leeward beaches… imagine how much more they could do with your support!
We know money can get tight sometimes, but you can still help! Volunteers who sign up online can choose to have
$25 added to the funds we send Protectors of Paradise!

Without volunteers, these events simply wouldn’t be possible!
From packet pick-up and registration to course marshals and meal service, there are tons of ways you can help. Sure… when you volunteer, you can look forward to that warm & fuzzy feeling that comes by sharing so much aloha, but there’s WAY more to it than that. There’s no experience necessary but space is limited, so please let us know you’re available right away!

Directions: Wai Kai is located on O’ahu’s leeward side, very near the coast in Ewa Beach. Click the link in the maps section above for individual directions or just make your way to Ft Weaver Rd via H1 & head south. Turn right on Keone’ula Blvd & travel about a mile west… you won’t be able to miss us.
Parking: Parking will be on the mauka (North) side of Keone’ula, just past Laukapuna St and the small office building, but before the country club, then the 1/4 mile walk to the start line will be a great warm-up!
Pricing: Pricing is slightly higher than for other events due to the sustainability mandates imposed by the venue. Because you will be receiving finish line hydration in a reusable water bottle provided by us, please refrain from bringing any single-use plastic containers with you on race day.
The above information is only that which is unique to this event.
