From the home of Wai Kai, envisioned as one of the region’s most popular resort destinations, Aloha Racing brings our 2nd annual Akahai 5K, 10K & Half Marathon! Along with its sister event in July, Laule’a, these flat & fast courses include spectacular views of the Hoakalei Country Club and Ernie Els’ signature golf course (home of the LPGA LOTTE Championship), as well as O’ahu’s breathtaking Leeward Coast at Nimitz Beach. Athletes will be embraced by the beauty of the island, creating memories to last a lifetime.

Without volunteers, these events simply wouldn’t be possible!
From packet pick-up and registration to course marshals and meal service, there are tons of ways you can help. Sure… when you volunteer, you can look forward to that warm & fuzzy feeling that comes by sharing so much aloha, but there’s WAY more to it than that. There’s no experience necessary but space is limited, so please let us know you’re available right away!

General Information
Directions: Wai Kai is located on O’ahu’s leeward side, very near the coast in Ewa Beach. Click the link in the maps section above for individual directions or just make your way to Ft Weaver Rd via H1 & head south. Turn right on Keone’ula Blvd & travel about a mile west… you won’t be able to miss us.
Parking: Parking will be on the mauka (North) side of Keone’ula, just past Laukapuna St and the small office building, but before the country club, then the 1/4 mile walk to the start line will be a great warm-up!
Pricing: Pricing is slightly higher than for other events due to the sustainability mandates imposed by the venue. Because you will be receiving finish line hydration in a reusable water bottle provided by us, please refrain from bringing any single-use plastic containers with you on race day.
The above information is only that which is unique to this event.
